Miss Rahman is an experienced consultant urogynaecologist, she has over 12 years experience working for the NHS and has performed over 180 pelvic floor repairs, 70 intravesical Botox/ uretheral bulkamid procedures, over 80 vaginal hysterectomies and over 100 diagnostic cystoscopy procedures during this time. She also carries out tests as a urodynamicist.
Miss Rahman completed advanced training in urogynaecology at Addenbrokes hospital in Cambridge in 2017 and has since been working as a full time consultant urogynaecologist. Miss Rahman provides high quality of care to patients with vaginal prolapse, recurrent urinary tract infections and urinary incontinence with great expertise as well as sensitivity to these issues. She strongly believes in providing holistic care for her patients which includes educating, counselling and managing expectations alongside sound clinical skill and surgical intervention where necessary,
Miss Rahman's surgical expertise includes non mesh procdure only: Posterior and anterior vaginal wall repair, Perineorrhaphy, Vaginal Hysterectomy, Sacrospinous Hysteropexy and Sacrospinous Fixation of the Vault in women post-hysterectomy. She also specialises in bladder investigations including cystoscopy and intra-vesical botox injections and urethral bulkamid injections.
