This Surgeon is AMAZING and an incredible man, he is clear, precise, TOTALLY manages expectations, very calm and explain things in straight forward language so you understand. I never felt a thing under a local and they even played music for me in the operating theatre. I was a very very nervous patient and to be fair petrified of eye surgery, now after the surgery cataracts are going to be a walk in the park. Mr Zambarakji was very informative about my procedure understood my apprehension and explained that he could give me sedation. He was very friendly and calming at the actual procedure.

If you are looking for an ophthalmologist for a cataract look no further - Ms Richardson is the one. I thank my lucky stars for the day I found her. She is simply the best: absolutely delightful, friendly, human, engaging, knowledgeable, caring, reassuring, listens to one and notes down everything one says. She is also an expert clinician having carried out over 25,000 cataract procedures alone. Ms Richardson explains the whole procedure clearly and simply and presents all the options available for the surgery and the new lens and guided me calmly, wisely, sensitively and sensibly throughout the whole process. Successful surgery, great vision and the best ophthalmologist in the world- what more can one want?!

I felt Mr Mitry was extremely professional. He made me feel safe and in good hands, and the operation and results were first class.

I was recommended by a friend who had the same Bilateral refractive lens replacement with Trifocal lenses that I was looking for and I am so pleased I followed that advice. Everything was explained to a super in depth degree, including videos of the actual procedure so I was fully aware of what to expect. The aftercare and follow ups were excellent and I was left in no doubt that, had there been any issues, which there weren't, everything would be managed which gave me piece of mind in making my choice of surgeon. Our eyes are so precious, it's important that you fully understand everything and you have the utmost faith in the professionals you choose. My only regret is that a phaffed around and didn't get it done years ago!

I found Mr El Housseini very knowledgeable and he investigated my condition thoroughly. He was reassuring and empathetic when I expressed my fear that I would lose my sight. He referred me to an appropriate specialist at Moorfields eye hospital when my condition deteriorated
