Mr Ayoub explained the whole process and subsequent outcome very thoroughly and answered any questions and concerns in detail. The surgery was on both eyes and the treatment was painless and took little time. All in all I felt I was in good hands all through the consultations and surgery and am very happy with the outcome. Dr Abrahamson is a remarkable paediatric consultant who truly goes above and beyond in providing exceptional care. From the moment we walked into Cromwell his warm demeanour put my child at ease, instantly building trust. He is knowledgeable, incredibly empathetic and intensely observant. The blood results confirmed his diagnosis and he made himself available to explain and to address all of our concerns. I cannot thank him enough, he is by far the best paediatric consultant that I have ever met. He genuinely cares and cannot bare to see a child suffer. We will not be seeing anyone else other than Dr Ed.

I was recommended by a friend who had the same Bilateral refractive lens replacement with Trifocal lenses that I was looking for and I am so pleased I followed that advice. Everything was explained to a super in depth degree, including videos of the actual procedure so I was fully aware of what to expect. The aftercare and follow ups were excellent and I was left in no doubt that, had there been any issues, which there weren't, everything would be managed which gave me piece of mind in making my choice of surgeon. Our eyes are so precious, it's important that you fully understand everything and you have the utmost faith in the professionals you choose. My only regret is that a phaffed around and didn't get it done years ago!

She is simply the best: absolutely delightful, friendly, human, engaging, knowledgeable, caring, reassuring, listens to one and notes down everything one says. She is also an expert clinician having carried out over 25,000 cataract procedures alone. Ms Richardson explains the whole procedure clearly and simply and presents all the options available for the surgery and the new lens and guided me calmly, wisely, sensitively and sensibly throughout the whole process. Successful surgery, great vision and the best ophthalmologist in the world- what more can one want?!

This Surgeon is AMAZING and an incredible man, he is clear, precise, TOTALLY manages expectations, very calm and explain things in straight forward language so you understand. I never felt a thing under a local and they even played music for me in the operating theatre. I was a very very nervous patient and to be fair petrified of eye surgery, now after the surgery cataracts are going to be a walk in the park. Dr Lavan is an excellent GP. He is one of the first doctors who listened to me and my concerns without dismissing them. He referred me for a scan, he later explained the results clearly and he provided guidance for a follow-up with a specialist. His explanations regarding medical tests were very detailed but easy to understand. Also, I was able to get a same day appointment which is fantastic and the price set at £50 for a phone appointment was also reasonable. Very good experience overall.
