I can’t speak highly enough of the care I received at my ophthalmology appointment today with Mr Bhalla, who was warm, kind and thoroughly professional. I felt at ease from the moment we started talking. Throughout the appointment, Mr Bhalla took the time to explain what he was checking and why, then talked me through what had been found and what it meant for me. Mr Bhalla’s assessment was so thorough and he even drew diagrams to help me picture what was happening with my eyes, which made a real difference to how well I understood my condition. I felt comfortable asking questions and never felt rushed. What stood out most was the care that was taken to make sure I followed what he was saying at every step. I left feeling genuinely reassured with a sound understanding of what we had discussed. I would wholeheartedly recommend Mr Bhalla to anyone who feels apprehensive about an eye appointment or overwhelmed by the prospect of understanding an eye condition. Mr Bhalla made something that could easily have felt daunting feel comfortable, and I’m so grateful for the kindness and patience he showed me.

Hard to describe as I received news that I wasn’t expecting. However, Dr Bhalla delivered it clearly and sympathetically.

I took my toddler to see Mr Bhalla about a persistent eye issue that several GPs had been unable to provide a satisfactory explanation or solution for. And I’m so glad I did! Mr Bhalla is not only incredibly knowledgeable, experienced, thorough and professional, but also has a wonderful manner with children. He was absolutely brilliant with my toddler, putting us both at ease and making the entire experience as smooth as possible. Mr Bhalla is also genuinely warm and friendly. My husband had an appointment with him earlier in the year too, and our family couldn't recommend him more highly. He is an absolutely fantastic choice for both adults and children alike.

I had an excellent consultation with Mr Bhalla. He was highly professional, welcoming, and extremely thorough with my eye examination. He took the time to clearly explain the health of my eyes and next steps making me feel completely comfortable and valued as a patient.

Explained future issues

Mr Bhalla reviewed my progress following the insertion of a micro shunt in my left eye. This was the third visit post surgery. He removed 3 stitches from my eye and planned future appointments and surgery.
