Mr Minak Bhalla is a highly skilled and compassionate Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon specialising in glaucoma and cataract surgery. Based at the Royal Free Hospital and Clinica London, he is recognised for his clinical expertise, innovative surgical techniques, and patient-centred approach.
Mr Bhalla offers a range of advanced treatments for glaucoma, including the Hydrus Microstent, iStent, PreserFlo MicroShunt, and PAUL Glaucoma Implant. He also provides laser treatments such as selective laser trabeculoplasty (SLT), laser iridotomy, and cyclodiode therapy, as well as cataract surgery in glaucoma patients, with or without minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS) procedures.

It’s wonderful to hear that you felt listened to and reassured. Creating the space to talk through concerns and explain procedures clearly is something I place great importance on.
I have been receiving emergency treatment for steroid induced glaucoma from both Mr Bhalla and his fellow,, Doctor Malek, this has included surgery on both eyes as a matter of urgency and an intensive series of follow up appointments. My most recent visit was consistent with those that preceded JT in that it was thorough and painstaking. Everything was explained clearly and my questions were answered patiently. The operations have been successful and considerable damage to my sight has been prevented. I have felt completely supported throughout the whole process.
