From my initial consultation Mr Abbassi-Ghadi made me feel completely at ease about to procedure. He was so approachable about questions I had and explained everything thoroughly to me. My procedure was a hug success and I wouldn’t hesitate to contact him again should I need to.

When I meet Mr Kumar I was very worried about the symptoms could indicate cancer. He arranged a first appointment within 36 hours. Seeing him was a huge relief, he confirmed the risk of cancer to be very low and quickly arranged for me to have all tests completed. Through out the process he kept checking in with me. His skill is world class and he performs some of the most challenging gastrointestinal surgeries with excellent outcomes. Mr Mohammadi also explains what options are available in an easy-to-understand manner but can explain in detail when asked. Indeed, I had many concerns about my oesophagectomy and his dedication saw me through.

Professor Frampton explained everything thoroughly and in a way easy to understand for someone without medical knowledge. He listened to concerns and reassured throughout the process and answered all my questions promptly and clearly. His care on the day of my procedure was exceptional, both before, during and after, and he also took time to talk to my husband and keep him fully updated on how things had gone. This was especially appreciated as the procedure had been more challenging than anticipated. Following my operation, I was very pleasantly surprised to receive a call at home the next day from Professor Frampton to check on how I was doing and when I had some concerns during my recovery the following week, he called me again late at night for advice and reassurance.
