GenesisCare Oxford are a centre of excellence for stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS), which is non-invasive surgery for brain tumours, and have the UK's first MRIdian – the latest precision radiotherapy for prostate, lung, pancreatic and liver cancers. As well as the highest quality treatment options, patients are also offered supporting therapies for emotional wellbeing, with the GenesisCare partnership with Penny Brohn UK, helping patients with the emotional journey of their treatment as well as the physical one.
Patients are referred to GenesisCare Oxford from across the Oxfordshire area as well as further afield and they are proud to have been rated "outstanding" by the Care Quality Commission for the exceptional quality of their care.
Services offered at GenesisCare Oxford include advanced radiotherapy, chemotherapy, supporting therapies including emotional wellbeing therapies and exercise medicine, as well as a range of diagnostic and imaging options available. In addition to this, 13 other GenesisCare UK centres and a number of partner hospitals mean that if patients require treatment that is not available on-site, they will be able to access it through the GenesisCare network as part of their individual care plan.

Upset at the start - one team allowed a week for planning so when we arrived for first treatment we were sent home as another team wanted two weeks for planning - this needs to be prevented in future

On arrival I was asked to fill in a number of forms about my health, some of which I had to complete from memory. I needed more time before my appointment to complete all the forms. It would have been helpful to have been warned about the forms or completed them in advance. All the staff were helpful. My questions were answered. I was kept informed about what was happening. The provision of chauffer driven cars to take me to and from my appointments made the overall experience stress free.
