Dr Negar Naderpoor

Dr Negar Naderpoor is a highly qualified Consultant Endocrinologist who is dedicated to providing comprehensive, patient-centred care. She specialises in the diagnosis and management of a wide range of endocrine disorders, with a particular focus on diabetes and metabolic health. Dr Naderpoor is passionate about integrating clinical practice with the latest scientific research, ensuring her patients receive evidence-based treatments tailored to their individual needs. Her reassuring and professional approach helps patients feel supported as they navigate complex health conditions.

Dr Naderpoor completed her medical degree (MD) and undertook extensive specialist training in endocrinology. She was admitted as a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) in 2014. Committed to advancing medical knowledge, she was awarded a PhD from Monash University in 2018, with a doctoral thesis focusing on the modulation of insulin resistance in obesity and polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). In addition to her clinical work, she contributes to medical education as a Senior Lecturer and actively supervises doctoral candidates and medical students.

With broad clinical expertise, Dr Naderpoor manages diverse endocrine conditions, including type 1, type 2, and gestational diabetes, as well as diabetes in pregnancy. She has a keen interest in utilising modern technology to improve diabetes management. Her areas of clinical focus also extend to thyroid, parathyroid, adrenal, and bone diseases, such as osteoporosis. Furthermore, she provides specialised care for women's reproductive health issues, particularly insulin resistance, obesity, and polycystic ovary syndrome, working collaboratively to achieve optimal health outcomes.
