Dr Rakesh Iyer is a Consultant Physician and Endocrinologist, and Director of Deakin Specialists. He completed his medical training in India, with his formative years in medicine spent across India and the United Kingdom before undertaking specialist training in Endocrinology at The Canberra Hospital and the ANZAC Research Institute in Sydney.
Dr Iyer currently works as a Staff Specialist at North Canberra Hospital, Bruce, and is a Clinical Lecturer at the Australian National University (ANU) Medical School.
