Dr Kate Hogden

Dr Kate Hogden is a highly qualified ophthalmologist with a focus on glaucoma and cataract surgery. They obtained their medical degree from the University of Queensland and pursued ophthalmology training at the Sydney Eye Hospital. Their dedication to glaucoma led them to complete subspecialty training at the University of British Columbia (UBC) in Vancouver, Canada, where they were honoured with a RANZCO Topham Scholarship. During their time at UBC, Dr Hogden also gained significant experience in medical and surgical retina care within the distinguished Vitreoretinal department.

Dr Hogden is skilled in a variety of glaucoma laser techniques and traditional glaucoma surgeries, including trabeculectomy and the implementation of glaucoma drainage devices. They also maintain a keen interest in minimally invasive glaucoma surgeries (MIGS). Their commitment to education and research is evident through their involvement in registrar teaching and participation in clinical research, culminating in presentations at both national and international ophthalmology conferences.
