EyeHub Sunshine Coast is a specialist ophthalmology clinic located in Buderim, Queensland, providing comprehensive eye care with a focus on advanced medical treatments and patient-centred care. The clinic is preparing to launch laser vision correction services on 1 April 2025, offering procedures such as PRESBYOND, SMILE PRO, LASIK, and implantable contact lenses to provide tailored vision correction solutions.

The clinic is based on the second floor of the Nucleus Medical Suites, adjacent to Buderim Private Hospital.

The clinic uses advanced ophthalmic technology, including robotic diagnostics, ray tracing, placido disc, and swept-source optical coherence tomography, ensuring precise assessments and optimal treatment results. It is also the first clinic in Queensland to offer the ZEISS Laser Suite with ZEISS VisuMax 800 femtosecond technology and the ZEISS MEL 90 excimer laser, an advanced platform designed to improve the accuracy and safety of laser vision correction procedures.

Laser vision correction services include PRESBYOND for patients experiencing presbyopia and seeking freedom from reading glasses, SMILE PRO for a minimally invasive and bladeless alternative to laser eye surgery, LASIK for rapid vision improvement with minimal downtime, and implantable contact lenses for those with refractive errors who may not be suitable for laser surgery. The clinic provides a transparent fee structure and offers various payment options, with all procedures including pre- and post-operative assessments and aftercare for 12 months.

The clinic works with select health funds and is a known gap provider for certain surgical procedures. Patients are advised to check with their health fund about their level of cover before confirming an appointment or surgery. A reduced fee schedule is available for pensioners, and under the Closing the Gap initiative, bulk billing is offered for individuals of Indigenous and Torres Strait Island descent. Fees are payable at the time of consultation, with EFTPOS, bank debit cards, Mastercard, Visa, and American Express accepted.

The clinic provides treatments for a range of conditions, including age-related macular degeneration, diabetic macular oedema, diabetic retinopathy, retinal detachment, retinal tears, retinal vein occlusion, glaucoma, cataracts, dry eyes, and uveitis. Patients also have access to various surgical options, such as cataract surgery, retinal laser surgery, intravitreal injections, and complex refractive procedures.
