Dr. Christine Brumfitt is a dedicated Consultant General and Bariatric Surgeon at Adelaide Bariatric Centre. She earned her medical degree in 2007 from The University of Pretoria, South Africa. Driven by her surgical passion, she completed the Australian Medical Council exams and pre-specialty training in South Australia.

In 2017, she joined the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons' General Surgery Fellowship Program, undergoing extensive training in various hospitals across South Australia and beyond. Her specialization in bariatric surgery led her to further training at Flinders Medical Centre, focusing on weight loss surgery while maintaining her proficiency in general and gastrointestinal surgery.
