Dr Chloe O'Dea

Dr Chloe O'Dea is a specialist Breast and Endocrine Surgeon with expertise in breast and endocrine surgery. She practises at Flinders Medical Centre and Flinders Private Hospital, where she provides compassionate, evidence-based surgical care tailored to the individual needs of her patients. Known for her collaborative approach, Dr O'Dea works closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patients receive comprehensive, high-quality care throughout their treatment journey.

Dr O'Dea graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the University of Adelaide in 2005. She went on to complete advanced surgical training and was awarded Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) in 2016, recognising her expertise as a specialist surgeon. She subseqently completed BreastSurg ANZ post fellowship training in Breast Surgery.

Her clinical practice encompasses the diagnosis and surgical management of a wide range of breast conditions, including both benign and malignant breast disease. She works alongside radiologists, oncologists, radiation oncologists, plastic surgeons, pathologists and nurses specialising in breast cancer care to provide coordinated, patient-centred treatment and support.

In addition to breast surgery, Dr O'Dea has extensive experience in endocrine surgery, with particular expertise in the management of thyroid and parathyroid conditions. She is committed to delivering personalised surgical care, ensuring patients feel informed, supported, and confident at every stage of their treatment.
