Throughout my treatment with Mr Toumi I have felt safe , supported, informed and educated by Mr. Toumi who has always made himself available for contact . Before commencing my treatment I contacted an ex nursing colleague who, himself now works in the field of obesity for advice. He advised me that the only person he would recommend would be Mr. Toumi. I will be forever grateful for that advice . On commencing treatment I simply followed all the advice given to me by Mr Toumi and have experienced little or no problems along the way. I have now reached a weight where I feel fit and healthy

From the initial consultation Mr Toumi took care of my worries and my concerns, reassuring me every step of the way. The staff during my stay took good care of me on the ward and I received calls from Mr Toumi and the Dawn the Dietician to make sure I was recovering well before my long journey home. Mr Toumi called me daily after the procedure which was so reassuring at the time and was able to answer any questions I had. I am now 9 weeks post op and am rapidly approaching my target weight. I have felt so comfortable and supported since I met Mr Toumi and we discussed my weight. I attended the initial appointment with an idea that I might like to explore surgical weight loss tools but I didn’t have a lot of information. After my first appointment I felt fully informed about the different options but I felt no pressure at all to commit to surgery, I left the appointment feeling like it would be a good tool for me but I didn’t feel pressured. Following the appointment I was able to contact Mr Toumi, ask questions and he put me in touch with other people who had undergone surgery, I was able to ask them about their real experiences. On the day of my surgery Mr Toumi visited me, he talked me through the procedure and the possible risks, I felt informed but he recognised my anxieties, he remained honest throughout and confident about the positive outcomes. Following surgery I have to admit I was struggling after the anaesthetic and when Mr Toumi came to see me I told him I wished we hadn’t met! He was so kind and reassuring, respected that I needed some time and said he would come back to see me the next day. He came back! And when I was discharged he called me daily, he answered my email queries and reassured me when I needed it. I have been back for my follow up appointment, I’m so so pleased I met Mr Toumi, I’m 4 weeks post op, I’m 3stone 4lbs down, I can fit in my clothes, I’m lighter on my feet, my joints don’t hurt anymore! Mr Toumi provided excellent, first class service. From the first consultation, through the procedure to the follow up calls and final sign off, the service was impeccable, professional, friendly, knowledgeable and caring.

I visited Mr Toumi with gallstones and needing my gallbladder out. After a friendly, informative (but in plain English)assessment we agreed an operation date. I stayed in overnight and Mr Toumi visited after the surgery then the next morning. Once home, Mr Toumi called me daily for updates, asked for photos to confirm healing and answered all of my concerns. I have a complication and was taken back into hospital, mid recovery, and was kept in a week. Mr Toumi was amazing when I was struggling with getting information on treatment and diagnosis. He called the medial team, got information and relayed this back to myself and my husband in easy language. He also made suggestions to the team on diagnostics and treatment, advocating for me. I’ve now had a follow up with Mr Toumi and again found his manner, courtesy and care so genuine. I would recommend him without question.

I cannot recommend Mr Zaher Toumi highly enough. From my very first consultation, he was professional, approachable and incredibly reassuring. I was naturally anxious before my umbilical/paraumbilical hernia repair, but he took the time to explain everything clearly, answered all of my questions, and made me feel completely at ease. The surgery itself went very smoothly, and my recovery has progressed well. Throughout the entire process, I have felt I was in safe and experienced hands. What has really stood out is the excellent care and communication following my operation.
