About Mr Kiran Singisetti
Mr Kiran Singisetti is a lower limb orthopaedic surgeon based at Nuffield Health Newcastle upon Tyne Hospital and Spire Washington Hospital. His clinical practice focuses on primary and revision hip and knee replacement surgery. He also treats soft tissue knee disorders, such as meniscal and ACL injuries. He is passionate about trauma care and undertakes a variety of trauma-related surgeries, including complex periarticular and periprosthetic fracture fixation of the lower limb.
Following his basic and advanced surgical training, Mr Singisetti went on to complete the Cavendish Hip and Knee Arthroplasty Fellowship in Sheffield, UK, and then an AO Trauma Fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, USA. He has also undertaken a number of other fellowships including the British Orthopaedic Association travelling fellowship and the Charnley Latta Travelling Scholarship.
Mr Singisetti is interested in medical education and teaches on several regional, national, and international courses. He is the Surgical Tutor for the NHS Trust, supervises surgical trainees. He is an ATLS instructor, faculty member of Royal College of Surgeons courses and on the panel of examiners for the FRCS (Orthopaedics) exam.
He contributes to collaborative working in the North East, has various regional roles - Regional Surgical Ambassador for the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and Regional Speciality Professional Advisor for Royal Cllege of Surgeons of England. He is one of the Regional Clinical Coordinators for the National Joint Registry.
Mr Singisetti has presented work at international meetings such as the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the British Orthopaedic Association. He has published extensively with several articles, book chapters, and co-edited a book.

I had a full hip replacement on the 30th of April 2026. Mr Singisettis skills and dedication to his work is incredible. From the first consultation until my six week check up, his care and consideration has been second to none. He supported me with options before surgery and discussed risks. He listened carefully to my concerns and reassured me to the best of his ability. His bedside manner is impeccable and thank god for surgeons like him. Thank you for a top class service, it is much appreaciated.

I was very impressed with the procedure and the first class service I received from everyone involved in the process. I am very pleased with my new hip that has improved by mobility.
Following an Atypical fracture of the femur eight months ago my recent visit was to review healing of the bone which at the outset I was told may not be successful . Happily the bone is now healing and I have been discharged . Throughout Mr Singisetti has been skillful professional and caring with his approach.

Mr.Singisetti and the Spire Hospital provided excellent care when having my replacement . Everything was explained and discussed, went totally to plan and I made an excellent recovery
I had a full hip replacement at Nuffield Newcastle, from first appointment untill discharge i was treat with the upmost respect. My consultant Mr Kiran Sinisetti explained the whole procedure and put me at rest with my concerns, six weeks later walking unaided and doing well, thank you Kiran for the top class care.
Quick and accurate diagnosis. Explained injury was trauma and should be dealt with via NHS urgent care. MR Singisetti was thorough and professional. He was accurate in both his diagnosis and suggested treatment route.
