Dr Yael Hacohen is an accomplished Consultant Paediatric Neurologist with extensive expertise in evaluating and managing a wide range of neurological conditions in children. Specialising within Paediatrics and paediatric neuroinflammation, she provides comprehensive, compassionate care tailored to young patients and their families. Her clinical focus encompasses general paediatric neurology as well as complex neuroinflammatory disorders, ensuring that children receive thorough diagnostic assessments and highly individualised management plans.

Dr Hacohen earned her primary medical qualification and subsequently completed her doctoral studies (DPhil) in 2014 at the University of Oxford, where her research focused on children with autoimmune encephalitis and autoantibody phenotypes. To further her clinical and academic contributions, she has held academic clinical research positions at University College London, contributing substantially to international research in paediatric neuroimmunology. She maintains active professional engagement with leading paediatric and neurological medical associations, continuously integrating the latest evidence-based developments into her clinical practice.
