Dr Winnie Yeung

Dr Winnie Yeung is a highly skilled Consultant ENT Surgeon and Laryngologist who provides comprehensive, patient-centred care across all aspects of ear, nose, and throat medicine. She specialises in diagnosing and managing both common and complex conditions affecting adult and paediatric patients, with a dedicated clinical focus on voice, swallowing, and upper airway disorders. Dr Yeung is committed to delivering reassuring, tailored treatment plans that restore functional health and enhance overall quality of life for her patients.

Her advanced clinical expertise encompasses neurolaryngology, phonosurgery, and office-based laryngeal procedures. Dr Yeung possesses specialised proficiency in managing complex neurological conditions of the head and neck, as well as focal movement disorders such as laryngeal dystonia. In her practice, she utilises targeted botulinum toxin therapy to treat involuntary vocal cord spasms and related conditions. Furthermore, Dr Yeung performs phonosurgery and minimally invasive laryngeal interventions, providing specialist care for professional voice users and individuals experiencing chronic airway or deglutition difficulties.

Dr Yeung earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Imperial College London before graduating with Distinction from King's College London Medical School, where she was awarded the prestigious John Wignall Prize. She subsequently completed her specialist training in Otolaryngology in the East Midlands, during which she served as a Regional Trainee Lead for clinical research. Following her specialist registration with the General Medical Council, Dr Yeung completed an international Clinical Laryngology Fellowship at the University of Sydney in Australia, gaining advanced surgical training in voice, swallowing, and airway care. Committed to academic leadership, she serves as an Honorary Senior Lecturer and acts as a Specialty Advisor in Otolaryngology for the Royal College of Surgeons.
