His clinical practice encompasses specialised procedures including botulinum toxin administration for conditions such as cervical dystonia, blepharospasm, and hemifacial spasm. In addition to his clinical work, he serves as an Associate Professor leading research initiatives focused on biomarker discovery, neurodegenerative diseases, and expanding patient access to clinical trials.

Dr Scotton earned his undergraduate degree in Molecular and Cellular Biochemistry from the University of Oxford before completing his medical degree with distinction at King's College London, qualifying in 2011. He subsequently undertook specialist clinical training in neurology alongside a doctoral degree at University College London, concentrating on genetic risk factors and neuroimaging in neurodegenerative diseases. A Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians, Dr Scotton maintains professional memberships with the Association of British Neurologists, the Movement Disorder Society, and the International Society for Frontotemporal Dementias.
