Hip operation went very smoothly, was very well explained and Mr Poole answered all of my questions and i felt very confident in him carrying out my op.

Mr Poole brought confidence to the decision to operate and clearly discussed his approach whilst taking time to explain the more complex parts of the surgery. All the team worked well together

I found Mr Will Poole incredibly helpful and precise with his explanations about my scan results and what needs to happen. Mr Will Poole was very personable and made me feel really positive about the upcoming surgery I will need, the elements to focus on before and after. I learnt absolutely loads from Mr Will Poole during my consultations. Being a younger person discussing hip replacements and other surgery in this area has been tough to deal with personally for me as im a young(ish) rugby player who keeps active and Mr Will Poole eased all of my apprehension and made me feel really comfortable throughout our discussions. I can absolutely recommend Mr Will Poole as a consultant to anyone who needs to discuss their hip and other surrounding issues.

My operation was a great success and clearly a testament to Will's expertise. But he also showed empathy and understanding in the pre op period and was very professional and friendly throughout all our meetings. I was taken through the details of the process and procedure in a manner which gave me confidence about everything and especially in Will himself.

I felt in good hands when having my hip replacement operation and was was very well looked after before and after the operation. My one criticism was that ,having met my consultant the day after the operation, the following up meeting was 7 weeks after the day of the operation. An earlier meeting after , say, 4 or 5 weeks , would have been very beneficial .

It was absolutely amazing from the entry in to the hospital to the housekeeper to the night nurse that treated me to the nurse that discharged me The consultant was absolutely brilliant so was the anaesthetist also the physiotherapist I think I have mentioned everyone I really can’t stress enough the treatment and care I received Thank you for making me feel very at ease Would highly recommend the Spire Bristol

Could not fault the meeting with Mr Poole, which was on time and very informative with advise for on going recovery from hip replacement surgery.
