Dr William Dixon

Dr Dixon is an esteemed Consultant Rheumatologist dedicated to delivering comprehensive, patient-centred care for individuals managing complex rheumatic and musculoskeletal conditions. With extensive expertise in inflammatory arthritis and long-term joint health, he focuses on providing tailored management plans that improve quality of life and physical function. Throughout his clinical practice, Dr Dixon has developed a deep interest in inflammatory conditions such as Rheumatoid Arthritis, osteoarthritis, and other auto-immune rheumatic diseases. Dr Dixon completed his initial medical education at the University of London, earning a Bachelor of Science in Physiology followed by a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in 1997. He subsequently achieved Membership of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP) in 2002 before completing a Master of Science in Clinical Rheumatology and a PhD at the University of Manchester, as well as a Master of Science in Pharmacoepidemiology at McGill University. Dr Dixon maintains active affiliations with prominent professional organisations, holding memberships with the Royal College of Physicians, the British Society for Rheumatology, and the International Society for Pharmacoepidemiology.
