Mr Walid El Kininy

Mr Walid El Kininy is a Consultant Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon who provides comprehensive surgical care for complex conditions affecting the face, jaws, mouth, and neck. Dual-qualified as both a Dentist and a Medical Doctor, he delivers specialist care in facial deformity correction, orthognathic surgery, surgical dermatology, and salivary gland disorders. His clinical work includes corrective jaw procedures to manage severe obstructive sleep apnoea, complex resections and flap reconstructions for skin cancers, and advanced reconstructive implant dentistry.

In addition to correcting structural jaw and facial alignment issues, Mr El Kininy provides thorough diagnosis and treatment across a broad spectrum of oral and facial conditions. He regularly performs surgical lists under local and general anaesthesia for complex oral surgery, including wisdom tooth extractions, removal of impacted teeth, and the management of oral cysts. Furthermore, he is skilled in benign salivary gland surgery and offers single or full-arch dental implant placements, including both immediate and delayed restorations to help patients regain full function and appearance.

Mr El Kininy completed his primary dental degree at Trinity College Dublin, graduating with First-Class Honours and an academic scholarship in 2008. He subsequently earned his medical degree from Trinity College Dublin in 2013, followed by a higher Doctorate in Medicine focusing on facial nerve anatomy and surgical imaging. His post-graduate credentials include fellowships such as Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery and Fellow in Oral Surgery and Oral Medicine. Mr El Kininy maintains active memberships with the British Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons, the British Medical Association, and the AO Foundation.
