Dr Vigil James is a highly qualified Consultant Paediatrician who provides expert medical care for infants, children, and young people. Specialising in general and acute Paediatrics, Dr James focuses on delivering comprehensive paediatric healthcare tailored to the unique needs of each young patient. He has subspecialty clinical interest in paediatric allergies, acute paediatric conditions, and emergency medicine, ensuring families receive compassionate and clear guidance during medical consultations.

In his clinical practice, Dr James manages a broad spectrum of allergic disorders and acute paediatric illnesses. His areas of clinical interest encompass food allergy, asthma, eczema, allergic rhinitis, urticaria, angioedema, anaphylaxis, latex allergy, and drug allergies. He offers specialised diagnostic and therapeutic treatments, including aeroallergen immunotherapy, sublingual immunotherapy, allergy desensitisation, and supervised food and drug allergy challenge sessions. Additionally, Dr James possesses expertise in paediatric emergency medicine and point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS), utilising modern diagnostic tools to evaluate and manage acute childhood conditions efficiently.

Dr James earned his medical degrees, MBBS and MD, before completing advanced specialist training in Paediatrics.
