Dr Varsha Jain

Dr Varsha Jain is a dedicated Obstetrician and Gynaecologist who provides compassionate, patient-centred care for women facing a wide range of reproductive health concerns. With extensive clinical expertise, Dr Jain specialises in evaluating and managing complex chronic gynaecological conditions. She is deeply committed to supporting patients through every stage of their healthcare journey, combining empathetic communication with evidence-based medical practices to achieve optimal health outcomes.

Her main areas of clinical focus encompass abnormal uterine bleeding, heavy menstrual bleeding, uterine fibroids, and adenomyosis. Dr Jain is particularly passionate about personalising care for chronic gynaecological conditions and developing innovative, non-invasive diagnostic approaches such as Magnetic Resonance Elastography. In addition to her clinical work in gynaecology and reproductive medicine, she has gained international recognition for her pioneering research into female astronaut health and menstrual cycle control in extreme environments.

Dr Jain completed her intercalated Bachelor of Science in Extreme Environments Physiology at University College London in 2006, followed by her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) at Imperial College London in 2008. She subsequently earned a Master of Science in Space Physiology and Health from King's College London in 2012 and completed her Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) at the University of Edinburgh. She holds membership with the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (MRCOG) and serves as an Associate Committee Member for the Menstrual Disorders and Related Health Impacts committee at the International Federation of Gynaecology and Obstetrics (FIGO).

Through her clinical practice and academic endeavours, Dr Jain strives to break down societal stigmas surrounding menstrual health and empower patients with accurate medical knowledge.
