Dr Watson is everything you could hope for in a gynaecology consultant: empathetic, knowledgeable, reassuring and highly skilled. From the outset, she took the time to listen, understand my concerns, and work with me to agree a treatment plan that felt right for me. She went out of her way to ensure my procedure was booked quickly, which made a huge difference at a time when I was struggling with symptoms. What particularly stood out was her proactive and holistic approach. Dr Watson helped join the dots between different aspects of my health and reached out to other doctors involved in my care to ensure everyone had the full picture. It was clear that she wasn’t just focused on one issue, but on achieving the best possible outcome for me as a whole person. Throughout the process, her confidence, expertise, and calm manner made me feel completely safe in her care. My procedures under general anaesthetic were a success and have resolved the heavy bleeding and pain that had been affecting my quality of life. Dr Watson is the kind of doctor you want on your team - someone who combines clinical excellence with genuine compassion and advocacy for her patients. I am incredibly grateful for her support and would not hesitate to recommend her to others seeking exceptional gynaecological care.

I chose Dr Watson based on her expertise and experience from researching online. It’s tricky to find someone with experience of fibroids, so I was pleased to find her relatively nearby. I travelled from outside of my health board area to meet with her for a consultation. I was taken in a little later than my appointment time, however it quickly became apparent why. Dr Watson really listened to me, and at no point did I feel rushed. I appreciated her straight talking and honesty, but with empathy and compassion. I learned more about my condition, and possible treatment options in half an hour with her, than I have from 15 years within my own health board. Not only that, but with her knowledge and experience, she gave me hope that I may be able to preserve my fertility. It’s all still up in the air and dependant on more investigation, but the treatment options she discussed with me hadn’t even been mentioned elsewhere. She was very honest and realistic at the same time, to make sure that I understood. I wasn’t pressured in anyway to make a decision there and then, and Dr Watson was keen to discuss my case with colleagues which I have a huge amount of respect for, as there can be too much ego in medicine at times. I left the appointment with a plan and Dr Watson followed up with an email soon after, confirming next steps. She was also open to me exploring getting her recommended treatment from a surgeon within my health board (that she knows performs the procedure), to save me having to pay for it privately. This wasn’t something she had to do, yet again I felt she had my i...

Dr Watson really listened to what I had to say, gave thoughtful consideration of this ongoing health issue and provided sensible treatment options.. Thinking outside her " gynae box " and I felt she was treating me not just my condition. I am very pleased I made the decision to make contact with her.

She was knowledgeable and explained everything in great detail to me. What was important is that she listened and did not dismissed my concerns. My ultrasound was done during my appointment and also had my blood tests done on the same day too! I received the results and letter to explain everything within couple of days! Really impressed.

I would highly recommend Dr. Watson. She was very friendly and was very attentive in listening to why I had booked the consultation. She gave really clear next steps and information and then also shared this with me after the consultation.
