Dr Vanita Rasiah

Dr Vanita Rasiah is a compassionate Consultant Paediatrician specialising in general paediatrics with a dedicated focus on paediatric neurology and childhood epilepsy. She delivers patient-centred medical care to infants, children, and young people, working closely with families to offer reassurance and tailored management plans. Her practice is built around clear communication and a gentle approach, ensuring that young patients feel safe and understood throughout their care.

Dr Rasiah earned her primary medical qualification (MBBS) from Guy's, King's and St Thomas' School of Medicine in 2001. She subsequently completed a Master of Science (MSc) degree and achieved Membership of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (MRCPCH). After gaining early experience in general medicine and anaesthetics, she undertook higher specialist training in paediatrics, which included dedicated training in paediatric neurology and epilepsy. Dr Rasiah holds professional memberships with the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health and the British Paediatric Neurology Association.

In her clinical work, Dr Rasiah focuses on managing complex neurological conditions in young patients, with a specific interest in paediatric epilepsy pathways. She is actively involved in facilitating smooth transition care for teenagers moving from paediatric services to adult healthcare.
