Dr Van Sim is an accomplished Consultant Clinical Oncologist specialising in the comprehensive management and treatment of adult malignancies. Dedicated to delivering patient-centred and reassuring care, Dr Sim works closely alongside multidisciplinary clinical teams to formulate individualised treatment strategies tailored to each patient's unique health needs. In clinical practice, Dr Sim maintains a strong focus on advanced non-surgical cancer therapies, encompassing both systemic treatments and state-of-the-art radiation oncology. Special clinical interests include urological malignancies, notably prostate cancer, as well as complex skin malignancies such as cutaneous lymphoma and melanoma. Dr Sim routinely administers advanced treatment techniques, including Stereotactic Body Radiotherapy (SBRT), Intensity-Modulated Radiotherapy (IMRT), Image-Guided Radiotherapy (IGRT), chemotherapy, and targeted immunotherapy.

Dr Sim completed higher specialist training in Clinical Oncology and is listed on the General Medical Council Specialist Register.
