Chronic Pain

Living with rheumatoid arthritis and chronic pain, I got stuck in a cycle of negative thoughts that often left me doing nothing and feeling miserable. The more I focused on my pain and limitations, the more withdrawn I became.

Dr. Vasiliou helped me understand these patterns and also helped me practical ways to stop getting caught up in them. Through ACT and mindfulness, I learned how to cope better with difficult thoughts, focus on what matters to me, and start doing more of the things I value, even when pain is present.

He is incredibly knowledgeable, compassionate, and genuinely cares about his patients. What stood out most was how personalised his approach was. I never felt like I was receiving a standard treatment plan.

The app and resources he provides between sessions were also extremely helpful and made it easier to apply what I was learning in daily life.

Thanks to Dr. Vasiliou, I feel more like myself again. I am more active, more hopeful, and far better equipped to manage both my pain and my mindset.

Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD)

Jodie is both an incredibly warm and insightful person. She makes me feel safe and understood and therefore able to be honest about very personal things. But as well as being very kind and understanding, she is very knowledgeable and can navigate talking about my experiences with offering insights and therapeutic strategies seamlessly. No matter how hard a conversation has been, I always come away feeling better and like I have takeaways that I can focus before our next session.
