My visit was excellent, life saving in fact. I cannot express how much Abbeycare has helped me & my life going forward. I was lucky with the peers I was with during my stay & I cannot express enough how brilliant & helpful all the staff were & how comfortable i felt about completely opening up to reveive rhe treatment i desperately needed, and a special thank you to my co worker Jessica Fry 😍

Great experience

I spent three months at Abbeycare Gloucester, and I can honestly say it changed my life. When I arrived, I was struggling deeply with alcohol addiction and felt completely lost. The team here gave me the structure, support and belief that I desperately needed. Thanks to their programme, guidance and genuine care, I’ve been able to quit alcohol and start building a new life in sobriety. The staff are incredible, compassionate, professional and truly invested in every individual’s recovery. They don’t just treat addiction; they treat the person behind it. From group therapy to one-to-one support, everything is delivered with empathy and understanding. Abbeycare gave me the tools, mindset and confidence to move forward. I left stronger, healthier and hopeful about my future. If you’re struggling and thinking about getting help, this place can genuinely change your life like it did mine.

Staff were really friendly and helpful, the program was more than what I expected it too be, I've learned so much from my time in here and I couldn't be more greatful

From a therapeutic perspective it was 10/10, I came in to solve an addiction problem and left solving a ‘me problem’ I learnt things about myself and about addiction that I never thought would be possible and genuinely believe I will live a fulfilled life in sobriety

My stay at Abbeycare Gloucester was exactly what I needed to aid my recovery. I arrived feeling hopeless and desperate. I felt safe and calm during my time here. The staff are so caring and understanding, while challenging the thinking and behaviors that got me here in the first place. This is my first time at Abbeycare but my 2nd time in rehab. Abbeycare is streets ahead of my previous experience. In that I left feeling more equipped to deal with life sober and supported. They have a strong aftercare program and community which I will use as part of my recovery journey. 10/10 from me. Rich W
