About Mr Tim Pope
Mr Tim Pope is an experienced alcohol and drug treatment specialist with over 23 years’ experience working in substance misuse services as both a practitioner and trainer. He has developed expertise in supporting individuals affected by alcohol and substance use, with a strong focus on recovery, psychosocial interventions, and improving outcomes through evidence-based practice.
Mr Pope currently works within alcohol and substance misuse services in Gloucestershire, delivering psychosocial interventions and supporting individuals on their recovery journeys.
He holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Addiction Psychology from London Metropolitan University, graduating with Distinction, and was a member of the university’s Addiction Research team during his studies. He also holds a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management in Health and Social Care.
With specialist expertise in alcohol and substance misuse, recovery, training, public speaking, consultancy, and health and social care development, Mr Pope combines practical experience with academic knowledge and a commitment to improving care standards across the sector.
