Mr Robert Robinson

Rob has been one of the key figures (along with Natalie) during my time at Abbeycare Gloucester. He has helped me to challenge my thinking, and see things with a different perspective. He has worked with me to move me forwards, rather than battering me into submission like other (not Abbeycare)rehab I went to. Rob has taken time to understand how I think and therefore act. All the therapeutic staff have helped me so much to feel able to cope with life outside of rehab.

A great therapist—approachable, insightful, and knowledgeable. Led some fantastic and thought-provoking group sessions.

I’ve had a really good experience with rib as he been my counsellor and stage 3 worker,he have helped me through absolutely anything and I’m really great full for that his 1-1 sessions are really good he gets everything out of you and knows what he’s doing I can’t thank him enough it’s been an absolute pleasure to have him as my counsellor and in group sessions he have really helped me a lot

Rob is brilliant, as are all therapist, but my particular memory is when reading out my step 1. He was very understanding and asking me to expand on some of my unmanageably, this was needed as it brought out deeper emotions. A big release in recovery. My thanks goes out to all therapist, they've been my higher power whilst in here.
