Dr Timothy Wilkinson

Dr Timothy Wilkinson is a highly skilled Consultant Neurologist dedicated to providing comprehensive care for individuals experiencing a wide array of neurological conditions. His clinical practice encompasses both general neurology and specialist services, with a particular focus on cognitive and movement disorders. Dr Wilkinson is committed to delivering empathetic, evidence-based care, working closely with patients and their families to develop tailored management plans that prioritise quality of life and long-term health outcomes.

Dr Wilkinson earned his medical degree with honours, obtaining a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB), alongside an honours Bachelor of Medical Sciences (BMedSci). He further advanced his clinical and academic knowledge by completing a Master of Science (MSc) and a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) focused on dementia epidemiology and neurodegenerative disorders. Following his higher clinical training in neurology, he completed advanced fellowship training in cognitive and movement disorders. He is a Member of the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh (MRCP).
