After a year of worry and uncertainty I now feel there is light at the end of the tunnel.
Dr Hollingworth was very thorough and attentive during the consultation, he listened to all my concerns and answered them clearly. He was approachable and had a lovely, kind manner.
Very supportive and knowledgeable. Made me feel part of my healthcare journey
He is always so kind, compassionate and just wants to help whatever situation I present
Dr. Hollingworth was thorough, wide-ranging in his interrogation, and very clear in his explanations. He has an exceptional, national (if not international ) reputation across his expertise, and he did not disappoint.
The Dr took the time to put me at ease and really listened to everything I had to say, I left feeling much more positive about what is going on and what will happen next
The appointment was useful for me, and the doctor was able to see my overall progress as this was the first contact I had had since being discharged from UHS. The visit was put to good use as I was weighed, had a blood test, gave a urine sample, and hopefully answered the questions presented by the two interviewers. My only negative comment is that when I told them that one of. my prescription items (Sanatogen A-Z Multivitamins) had become unavailable and subsequently removed from my prescription list, and they agreed that it could be substituted with any generic A-Z Multivitamin tablets, nothing was done to put that in place, and so I am still not getting any vitamin supplements. I do not know how else I can get that put in place, as my home doctor's surgery won’t change any items - it has to be done by UHS. So if that could be amended for me, I would be grateful. I am sorry but I had assumed it would be done by someone at the UHS pharmacy, or an authorisation put in place for my doctor to action it at the Medina Healthcare surgery. The appointment was otherwise very useful and justified the convoluted journey which I had to make from the Isle of Wight. I only mention this aspect as I have previously been instructed to attend in person when it could easily have been carried out entirely by telephone and lasted less than five minutes. But this appointment required a face-to-face meeting and I was happy to attend.
Dr Hollingworth was very welcoming and listened to everything I had to say and my concerns and took it from a new perspective and I was very happy with the outcome and that a plan has been put in place for me going forward. I have been suffering for many years with my health and it’s nice to feel listened too.
Dr Hollingworth spent time listening to me and understanding my problems and explained what he thought was going on. He went through all of the different options, clearly explaining everything. I am really grateful for his time and listening to me as well as his clear explanations! I feel really comfortable in his care.
