Dr Terry-Ann Curran

Dr Terry-Ann Curran is a dedicated Plastic Surgeon who delivers compassionate and patient-centred care across a broad spectrum of plastic and reconstructive surgery. Known for her reassuring approach and commitment to clinical excellence, she works closely with patients to restore physical function and refine appearance following trauma, disease, or congenital conditions. Dr Curran completed her primary medical education, graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery, and Bachelor of the Art of Obstetrics (MB BCh BAO), and subsequently earned a Doctor of Medicine (MD) research degree. Demonstrating a strong commitment to advanced surgical training, she was awarded the prestigious Bruce Bailey Fellowship to further develop her expertise in hand and reconstructive trauma surgery. Her clinical practice is informed by ongoing academic research in microsurgery and reconstructive techniques, reflecting her dedication to evidence-based healthcare.

With extensive training in reconstructive procedures, Dr Curran maintains strong clinical interests in skin cancer surgery, breast reconstruction, craniofacial care, and upper limb trauma. Her specialist expertise includes complex microsurgical repair, such as digital nerve alignment, alongside cleft lip and palate surgery, therapeutic mammaplasty, and soft-tissue limb reconstruction.
