Dr Taseer Kazmi

Dr Taseer Kazmi is a highly experienced Consultant Psychiatrist at Priory Hospital Altrincham. He has been working full time as an NHS Consultant since 2009 and has gained extensive clinical experience in various services across Manchester. He has held several senior education and leadership positions, including Training Programme Director, Lead Consultant, and Associate Medical Director. He is currently serving as the Director of Medical Education for Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust.

Dr Kazmi completed his undergraduate medical training at the University of Leicester and qualified in 2001. He then moved back to Manchester where he completed all of his postgraduate training, mostly working in the Greater Manchester area. He is registered with the General Medical Council (GMC), and has been on the specialist register for psychiatry since 2009.

Furthermore, Dr Kazmi has been approved by the GMC as a health assessor and medical supervisor. He is a clinical and educational supervisor with responsibilities for training all grades of junior doctors. He is also on the clinical exam committee and is an examiner for the Royal College of Psychiatrists.
