Dr Tamas Kobezda

Dr Tamas Kobezda is a dedicated Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon who provides comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, and surgical treatment for a broad spectrum of musculoskeletal conditions. With extensive clinical training and a patient-centred approach, Dr Kobezda works closely with individuals to restore joint function, alleviate chronic pain, and support long-term recovery. His practice encompasses general orthopaedic care alongside dedicated sub-specialised management of foot and ankle disorders.

In his clinical practice, Dr Kobezda specialises in diagnosing and treating complex lower limb conditions. He performs a wide variety of advanced surgical procedures, including ankle replacement surgery, bunion correction, structural deformity repair, and soft tissue ligament reconstruction. Dr Kobezda is also highly experienced in keyhole arthroscopic procedures to assess and treat joint problems using minimally invasive techniques. His expertise extends to managing painful conditions such as Achilles tendon disorders and plantar fasciitis, as well as complex diabetic foot complications, including foot ulcers and Charcot foot deformities.

Dr Kobezda earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Debrecen in 2008 and went on to complete his Doctor of Philosophy at the same institution in 2014. Furthering his higher surgical education in the United Kingdom, he completed a Master of Surgery in Orthopaedics at Anglia Ruskin University in 2018. Dr Kobezda achieved Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2014 and was awarded Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2022. He maintains active professional membership as a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England.
