Dr. Tamara Alexander

Dr Tamara Alexander is a highly qualified Consultant Anaesthetist with extensive experience in providing safe, tailored anaesthetic care across a wide range of surgical specialties. She currently practices privately at Ramsay Mount Stuart Hospital and also works within the NHS at Torbay and South Devon NHS Foundation Trust, where she plays a key role in supporting patients through their surgical journeys.

Dr Alexander graduated with her MB ChB from the University of KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa in 2005 and has since built a strong career in anaesthesia. She completed her specialist training and was added to the GMC Specialist Register for Anaesthetics in November 2021, reflecting her advanced expertise and commitment to the highest clinical standards.

Her role involves delivering personalised anaesthetic plans, ensuring patient safety, and providing reassurance and support before, during, and after procedures. She is skilled in managing complex cases and is dedicated to making each patient’s experience as comfortable and stress-free as possible.
