Peninsula Heart Clinic is home to a team of expert consultant cardiologists from University Hospitals Plymouth NHS Trust. All consultants have several years of experience, each with specialist expertise in various areas of cardiology. The multidisciplinary team of consultants are supported by their excellent clinical support team. Both my wife and I have as private patients received excellent diagnosis and treatment of from Dr Viswasanthan for our respective heart problems.
My visits (several) were to very kind and friendly heart consultants. I was diagnosed, then guided through the whole TAVI procedure, which was successful. I am most grateful for the timely and very competant treatment.
Staff were very polite and welcoming and very reassuring.
Despite being offered friend and family discount from a member of the Peninsular team I did not receive discount this.

People nice clinic clean I felt in my consultation I was not listened too. And I’m still waiting for the consultation paperwork and the echocardiogram report so that side is very poor

The most important factor by far is the skill, expertise and experience of the clinician - which in my case was excellent in every respect. The friendliness of the staff and a high level of hygiene standards is to be expected in a clinical setting.
