Dr Susan Picton

Dr Susan Picton is a highly dedicated Consultant Paediatric Oncologist specialising in the diagnosis, treatment, and holistic management of cancer in children, teenagers, and young adults. She maintains a strong clinical focus on paediatric neuro-oncology, delivering evidence-based, compassionate care designed to support young patients and their families throughout every stage of treatment. Dr Picton has been instrumental in advancing innovative healthcare delivery models, including the establishment of home-based bolus chemotherapy programmes and virtual ward monitoring services that allow young patients to receive specialist care in the comfort of their own homes.

Dr Picton completed her medical degree, earning her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (BM BS), before undertaking advanced postgraduate specialist training in paediatric oncology and haematology. She is a Fellow of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (FRCPCH) and holds professional membership with the Children and Young People's Cancer and Leukaemia Association.
