Dr Sundara Lingam

Dr Sundara Lingam is an experienced Consultant Paediatrician who provides comprehensive healthcare for infants, children, and young adults. Specialising in general paediatrics alongside adolescent medicine, Dr Lingam offers thorough clinical assessments tailored to the physical, emotional, and developmental needs of every young patient. He works collaboratively with parents and families to deliver compassionate, holistic care in a reassuring environment.

Throughout his career, Dr Lingam has developed sub-specialty expertise in Paediatric Neurology and child neurodevelopment. His clinical practice focuses on diagnosing and managing complex developmental conditions, neurological disorders, and acute paediatric illnesses. Dr Lingam completed his medical degree in Russia, qualifying as a doctor in 1970. He subsequently undertook extensive postgraduate training, attaining a Diploma in Child Health (DCH) and a Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology (DRCOG) from the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. His high standard of clinical expertise is reflected in his professional memberships and accolades; he is a Fellow of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (FRCPCH) as well as a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow (FRCPS). He also holds postgraduate certifications in neurology and musculoskeletal medicine and is a member of the Medico Legal Society.
