Dr Shui Hao Chin

Dr Shui Chin is an accomplished Consultant Cardiologist and Electrophysiologist specialising in the comprehensive evaluation and management of complex heart rhythm disorders. Focusing on precision medicine and individualised patient care, he provides advanced diagnostic and therapeutic strategies tailored to the individual needs of patients experiencing cardiac arrhythmias. Dr Chin offers extensive expertise in managing conditions such as atrial fibrillation, ventricular arrhythmias, supraventricular tachycardia, syncope, and bradycardia.

Dr Chin completed his medical education at the University of Cambridge, earning his degree in medicine before undertaking specialist training in Cardiology in the West Midlands. Awarded a prestigious British Heart Foundation Clinical Research Fellowship, he completed a PhD in Cardiovascular Sciences in 2016. He subsequently enhanced his technical expertise through advanced subspecialist fellowships in cardiac electrophysiology in Canada and the United Kingdom. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians (FRCP) and a Fellow of the European Society of Cardiology (FESC), as well as holding certifications as a Certified Clinical Electrophysiology Specialist (CCEP) and a Certified Cardiac Device Specialist (CCDS).

Driven by innovation and clinical excellence, Dr Chin incorporates state-of-the-art technologies into routine arrhythmia care, including pulsed-field ablation, zero-fluoroscopy 3D mapping, high-power short-duration workflows, and advanced multimodal cardiac imaging. He routinely performs sophisticated interventional procedures, including complex catheter ablation, pulmonary vein isolation, and the implantation of pacemakers and defibrillators. Alongside his clinical practice, Dr Chin contributes significantly to academic research and medical education as an Honorary Senior Lecturer and serves as Chair of the Scientific Committee for national heart rhythm congresses.
