Dr Shiromi Ellis

Dr Shiromi Ellis is a Consultant Paediatrician and Consultant Community Paediatrician specialising in child health, developmental care, and child protection. Dedicated to supporting the physical, emotional, and social well-being of infants, children, and young people, Dr Ellis provides compassionate and comprehensive care tailored to the individual needs of every young patient and family.

In her clinical practice, Dr Ellis focuses on community paediatrics, child safeguarding, and forensic medical examinations for young individuals. She possesses extensive expertise in managing complex safeguarding cases, evaluating non-accidental physical injuries in children, and providing clinical leadership as a Clinical Director for specialist child support services. Her work includes conducting multi-agency child protection assessments, forensic medical evaluations, and delivering trauma-informed care to vulnerable children.

Dr Ellis completed her advanced training in general and community paediatrics, earning full registration with the General Medical Council and inclusion on the Specialist Register for Paediatrics.
