Dr Sheena Ramyead

Dr Sheena Ramyead is a highly accomplished Consultant Dermatologist dedicated to providing comprehensive, compassionate care for a wide range of skin, hair, and nail conditions. She treats patients presenting with general dermatological concerns as well as complex, chronic skin issues, aiming to improve both skin health and overall quality of life. Her clinical practice encompasses managing inflammatory conditions such as eczema, psoriasis, acne, hidradenitis suppurativa, and hair loss, alongside the early detection and management of skin cancers.

Dr Ramyead earned her medical degree from University College London Medical School, where she also intercalated to complete a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Communication. She subsequently undertook her General Medical training across several London teaching hospitals before completing specialist higher training in Dermatology. She holds a substantive post as a Consultant Dermatologist in the public health sector, where she leads a dedicated specialist eczema service and oversees complex dermatological care.

Beyond general and medical dermatology, Dr Ramyead is experienced in performing minor skin surgery, including the diagnostic biopsy and removal of moles, cysts, and other benign or malignant lesions. She maintains an active role in clinical education, having served as an undergraduate Dermatology Teaching Lead and mentored numerous junior doctors. Dr Ramyead is also engaged in academic research, with work published in peer-reviewed medical journals and presented at national and international conferences.
