Mr Sarker was very professional and reassuring and explained things well.
Felt completely at ease and in safe hands to have my thumb surgery done. Just wish I hadn’t left it so long. Thank you to all the staff at Spire Wellesley and particularly Mr Sarker for making the whole experience as painless as possible.
Very well presented made a clear plan of what had to be done and made sure I understood and was comfortable with the plan I am extremely impressed with the service I received
My interactions with Mr Sarker has always been met with professionalism, respect and easy to understand verbal and written synopsis of both the situation, the next steps to diagnose the issue and how it was to be managed going forwards. I would like to Thank him for this as it has been a traumatic experience for me, which he helped me to navigate and I’m very grateful.
Replacement of left and right thumb joints (not at same time obvs). Excellent outcome on both. All very clear and straightforward.
Very easy registration & booking in. The consultant I saw in relation to my condition, was welcoming and explained my treatment/ further investigative options clearly. Overall good experience and no waiting for hours to be seen. In fact was seen 10 minutes ahead of allotted appointment time.
I had scaphoid surgery with Mr Sarker in February 2025 and had a great experience throughout, from the surgery itself to all of the follow up appointments. The administration team were also extremely helpful at booking in appointments and available over the phone whenever needed. Would highly recommend.
Can’t say enough good things about Mr Sarker. He was fantastic when I presented with what I thought was a minor soft tissue injury in my finger which turned out to be a tendon sheath infection and an emergency, calling local A&E and sending me there with a written explanation of his findings resulting in me having surgery that day at at NHS hospital. Ever since he has been forthright but kind and honest and considerate, and excellent at explaining options and prognosis. I think I genuinely owe him very much for doing what he did and probably saving a large portion of the current function in my finger. A fantastic consultant.
Mr Sarker performed a trigger thumb release for me, he was happy for me to have a general anaesthetic and the operation itself was done quickly. A very effective nerve block minimized post-operative pain and the scar is tiny. I am very pleased with the result of the surgery, I no longer have constant pain, stiffness and triggering of the thumb.
I am delighted to endorse Shahrier Sarker. He demonstrates detailed assessment and a practical, patient-centred approach to upper-limb problems, while communicating options clearly and working constructively with colleagues across the patient's pathway.
