Dr Shaheel Bhuva

Dr Shaheel Bhuva is a highly accomplished Consultant Radiologist based in Oxford, specialising in advanced diagnostic imaging. With a focus on oncology and breast health, he provides expert clinical insights that are vital for guiding patient treatment pathways. Dr Bhuva is dedicated to delivering precise, compassionate care, ensuring that patients receive the highest standard of diagnostic support during their medical journeys.

His clinical expertise spans a wide range of sophisticated imaging modalities, with particular specialisation in positron emission tomography / computed tomography (PET/CT) and cross-sectional oncology imaging. Dr Bhuva has extensive experience in breast radiology, encompassing both screening and symptomatic assessments. He also plays a key role in multidisciplinary teams, particularly in the management of metastatic breast cancer, where his imaging expertise helps shape complex treatment strategies.

Dr Bhuva completed his medical undergraduate degree at University College London and went on to undertake his specialist radiology training in Leeds. To further refine his expertise, he completed a post-CCT Clinical Fellowship in PET Imaging at King's College London. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Radiologists and actively contributes to the wider medical community as a member of a National Cancer Audit Clinical Reference Group. Alongside his clinical work, he is a passionate educator who has served as a Lecturer in Pre-Clinical Medicine, an Undergraduate Tutor, and a Royal College Tutor, earning multiple awards for his teaching excellence.
