Dr Sarah Tucker

Dr Sarah Tucker is a Consultant Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon specialising in complex surgical reconstruction and soft tissue care. With a patient-centred approach, Dr Tucker offers expert surgical management for individuals requiring restorative procedures following trauma, disease, or severe injury. Her clinical practice prioritises individual patient values and functional recovery, delivering precise operative interventions to restore both anatomical form and physical capability.

Her clinical interests focus on hand trauma, lower and upper limb reconstruction, and intricate soft tissue surgery. Dr Tucker regularly performs specialised procedures such as perforator flaps, muscle flap reconstruction, burn contracture releases, fasciotomies, and peripheral nerve exploration. Alongside her clinical duties, she is deeply involved in global health initiatives, delivering reconstructive surgical training and emergency limb care in international humanitarian settings.

Dr Tucker graduated with her medical degree from Bristol University in 1992. She subsequently completed comprehensive higher surgical training in plastic surgery across South Wales and the South West of England, concluding with specialist Fellowship examination qualifications in Plastic Surgery. Additionally, Dr Tucker holds a Master of Science in Clinical Education from Peninsula Medical School. She is an active member of professional bodies including the British Association of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons, and serves on the board of the British Foundation for International Reconstructive Surgery and Training.
