Dr Sarah Skeoch is a dedicated Consultant Rheumatologist who provides compassionate and expert care for patients living with a wide range of rheumatic and musculoskeletal conditions. Dr Skeoch completed her medical degree, Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) with Honours, alongside a Bachelor of Science (BSc). She undertook her specialist Rheumatology training in the North West of England, during which she earned a Master of Science (MSc) in Clinical Rheumatology and a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) researching cardiovascular disease in rheumatoid arthritis at the University of Manchester. She also completed a National Institute for Health Research Clinical Lectureship in Rheumatology and Clinical Pharmacology. Dr Skeoch is a Member of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP) with specialist accreditation in Rheumatology.
In her clinical practice, Dr Skeoch leads dedicated clinical services for vasculitis and possesses extensive experience in autoimmune connective tissue disorders, including systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) and systemic sclerosis. Her clinical interests encompass rheumatoid arthritis, inflammatory arthritis, interstitial lung disease, and the prevention and management of cardiovascular risk in systemic rheumatic conditions. She utilises targeted modern treatment strategies, including biologic therapies and advanced immunosuppressants, to control inflammation and prevent long-term joint and tissue damage.
Combining clinical expertise with an empathetic patient manner, Dr Skeoch prioritises clear communication and holistic care.
