Miss Sarah Jane Hulin

Miss Sarah Jane Hulin is a Consultant Vascular Surgeon who provides expert, compassionate care for patients presenting with venous and arterial conditions. With extensive experience in both endovascular techniques and open surgical procedures, she specialises in treating varicose veins, thread veins, and complex vascular pathologies. Her patient-centred approach ensures that individuals receive clear advice, accurate diagnoses, and tailored treatment plans aimed at restoring health and improving overall well-being.

Miss Hulin completed her primary medical degree at the University of Cambridge, qualifying in 1994. Following her early clinical training, she earned a research doctorate (MD) from the University of Birmingham, supported in part by a Research Fellowship from the Royal College of Surgeons of England. She proceeded to complete higher specialist training in vascular surgery, achieving her final examination for Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS) in General and Vascular Surgery in 2007. Miss Hulin also completed a dedicated Fellowship in Vascular and Endovascular Surgery, as well as a Postgraduate Diploma in Healthcare Leadership and Management. She is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England, a member of the Vascular Society of Great Britain and Ireland, and a member of the Medical Protection Society.

In addition to her clinical work, Miss Hulin has held prominent regional leadership roles, including serving as a Clinical Network Lead and a Programme Director for abdominal aortic aneurysm screening. Her broad clinical focus encompasses all aspects of elective and emergency vascular care, ranging from sclerotherapy and minimally invasive vein removal to complex arterial procedures. Recognised for her thorough surgical precision and empathetic patient communication, Miss Hulin remains committed to delivering high-quality, modern vascular care.
