Dr Sarah Haden

Dr Sarah Haden is an experienced Consultant Paediatrician and Clinical Lead who provides compassionate, comprehensive healthcare for infants, children, and young people. Specialising in Community Paediatrics, she focuses on supporting children with complex healthcare needs, developmental challenges, and neurodevelopmental conditions. Dr Haden works collaboratively with families and multidisciplinary teams to deliver reassuring, high-quality care tailored to each child's physical, emotional, and social development.

Her clinical focus encompasses paediatric neurodisability, secondary-level assessments for children with special educational needs, and the coordination of care for neurodevelopmental disorders. As an active Consultant Paediatrician, Dr Haden oversees multidisciplinary diagnostic processes and delivers child protection medical assessments to ensure the wellbeing and safeguarding of young patients. She also contributes to transition services that assist adolescents with severe physical disabilities as they move from paediatric healthcare to adult services.

Dr Haden completed her higher specialist training in paediatrics, earning Membership of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (MRCPCH) and full entry on the General Medical Council Specialist Register for Paediatrics. Alongside her clinical duties, Dr Haden is deeply committed to medical education, supervising postgraduate trainees and serving as a clinical lead for regional training in community paediatrics.
