Ms Sarah Aldridge

Ms Sarah Aldridge is an experienced Psychotherapist and Counsellor who provides comprehensive psychological support to individuals and couples. She specialises in helping clients navigate a wide range of emotional and psychological difficulties, including anxiety, depression, low mood, and low confidence. With a compassionate and patient-centred approach, Ms Aldridge creates a safe, confidential, and collaborative space where clients can explore their struggles, gain deeper self-awareness, and understand how past experiences may be impacting their present lives.

Her clinical practice encompasses a diverse range of therapeutic modalities tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual. Ms Aldridge has extensive expertise in psychodynamic psychotherapy, Dynamic Interpersonal Therapy, and Mentalisation Based Therapy. She is also highly skilled in Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing, which she utilises to support clients recovering from trauma and post-traumatic stress. Additionally, she specialises in addressing relationship difficulties, whether they arise within family dynamics, personal partnerships, or the workplace, and has a dedicated interest in supporting individuals coping with the psychological impact of physical health conditions, such as oncology.

Ms Aldridge completed her Diploma in Counselling Psychotherapy at the Manor House Centre for Psychotherapy and Counselling in 2010. Committed to continuous professional development, she went on to obtain a Certificate in Couple Therapy for Depression from Tavistock Relationships and completed training in Dynamic Interpersonal Therapy at the Anna Freud Centre in 2018. In 2021, she earned a Diploma in Psychodynamic and Psychoanalytic Supervision from the Society of Analytical Psychology. Ms Aldridge is a Senior Accredited Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy, a Registered Member of the British Psychoanalytic Council, and a Member of the British Association for Psychoanalytic and Psychodynamic Supervisors.
