Dr Salah Abdu is a highly dedicated Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist who is committed to providing compassionate, patient-centred care. He specialises in managing high-risk pregnancies and complex gynaecological conditions, ensuring that each patient receives a comprehensive and tailored treatment plan. With a reassuring and professional approach, Dr Abdu supports women through all stages of their reproductive health journeys, from routine gynaecological care to complex obstetric management.

In his clinical practice, Dr Abdu has a particular interest in maternal medicine, preterm services, and vulval health. He is highly proficient in performing minimally invasive surgical techniques, including laparoscopic and hysteroscopic procedures, which promote faster recovery times and improved patient outcomes. Additionally, his expertise extends to diagnostic and therapeutic procedures such as colposcopy, vulvoscopy, and large loop excision of the transformation zone (LLETZ). He also actively participates in multidisciplinary teams, contributing his expertise to regional gynaecological oncology services.

Dr Abdu obtained his primary medical qualification, a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MB BCh), from Zagazig University in 1982. To further his professional development and maintain the highest standards of clinical excellence, he completed advanced training in his specialty and holds membership with the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (MRCOG). He remains actively involved in clinical research and continuous professional development, ensuring his practice is always aligned with the latest evidence-based medical advancements.
