Dr Sahena Haque is an accomplished Consultant Rheumatologist who delivers comprehensive and compassionate care to patients experiencing a wide array of musculoskeletal and autoimmune disorders. Guided by a strong commitment to evidence-based practice and patient-centred management, Dr Haque focuses on establishing accurate diagnoses and formulating tailored treatment plans designed to improve long-term mobility, manage pain, and enhance quality of life.

Dr Haque possesses expertise in managing complex autoimmune and inflammatory conditions, with a particular interest in vasculitis, systemic lupus erythematosus, rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, and connective tissue diseases. Recognising that multi-organ involvement often requires a coordinated approach, she works closely with multidisciplinary teams alongside specialists in renal medicine, respiratory medicine, and ear, nose, and throat care. Her clinical interests also encompass cardiovascular risk assessment in rheumatic conditions, advanced biologic therapies, and the clinical application of point-of-care ultrasound.

Dr Haque earned her medical degree, Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB), before going on to complete a Doctorate of Philosophy (PhD) focusing on rheumatological research. She is a Member of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP) and maintains an active role in postgraduate medical education and research, serving in educational leadership positions dedicated to training and developing future healthcare professionals.
